The islands of Cres and Lošinj belong to the Cres and Lošinj Archipelago, an island group in Kvarner Bay, the largest one in the Croatian Adriatic. Cres, the second largest Croatian island (length: 68 km, width: 13 km), is connected with the island of Lošinj via its Osor Port and a drawbridge.
The Lošinj Archipelago includes Lošinj (74.68 km2) and smaller islands such as Unije, Ilovike, Susak, Vele Srakane, Male Srakane and 30 other smaller islands, islets and reefs.
