Let's recall that the company Jadranka kampovi consists of four campsites named Čikat, Baldarin, Bijar and Slatina located on the islands of Lošinj and Cres. Camping tourism and its development are one of the most important parts of the Croatian Tourism Development Strategy until 2020, and Jadranka kampovi with over 710,000 overnight stays, and steady increase each year, participates in the promotion of Croatia and Cres and Lošinj as top camping destinations. The selection criteria for the "Croatia's Best Campsites" award are determined based on the questionnaire of the Croatian Camping Union and campsite inspections by the representatives of the Croatian Camping Association (HAK), and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. For the second year in a row, the Baldarin campsite has won the award of the Croatian Camping Union and the Croatian Auto Club, thus taking its place among the best 50 Croatian campsites under the brand 2019 Croatia's Best Campsites. The Čikat campsite from Mali Lošinj has received the same award for three consecutive years and the Slatina campsite from the island of Cres continuously since 2010. Furthermore, for the eighth year in a row, the Čikat campsite was awarded the “NajKampi Adria 2018" award in the category of large campsites in the Kvarner Region, awarded by the most prominent Slovenian internet portal Avtokampi under the patronage of the Slovenian company Adria. More than 44,000 guests participated in the selection. They have been choosing the best campsites in Croatia and Slovenia in several categories, and the Čikat campsite was voted as the best among many. In addition, a wide range of interesting lectures were held at the Congress of Croatian Camping, and various mobile homes and glamping tents were presented by the manufacturers. Finally, it is clear from the above that numerous awards that have been presented to Jadranka kampovi and the increase in the number of overnight stays arise from the long-term investments of the Jadranka Group in raising the quality at all levels and preserving the environment of the Jadranka Group hotels and campsites. Also, the Čikat campsite is the only campsite on the island of Lošinj and one of the few in Croatia that operates throughout the year and is open for the fifth winter in a row and this year also has a special Advent offer.
